KunstWorks' Alla Efimova joins APAG Advisory Board
KunstWorks' Principal Alla Efimova is honored to join the advisory board of the American Photography Archive Group (APAG), a non-profit membership organization to support photographers' archives, working photographers, and photographic archivists. Its mission is to help to preserve, document, and exhibit historic photography of the 20th and 21st centuries, and to provide education for the maintenance of privately-held photography archives. Since its founding in 2000, APAG has grown into a national network of over 150 archives, photographers, archivists, foundations and institutions. Throughout the year APAG meetings provide a supportive and lively forum for exchanging experience and knowledge with others who manage archives and the legacies of modern and contemporary photographers.
KunstWorks is helping to develop APAG West, a new affiliate of APAG, to extend the organization's educational and professional opportunities to members in California and the Western States. We will be hosting an inaugural event in San Francisco for APAG West on April 17, 2018. If you are interested in participating, please email us at christopher@thekunstworks.com.
